Hussy
A new play party for dykes and queers
The Gay Barn is taking over Peacock for HUSSY, our new kinky play party for dykes and the queers who love them!
β
With more privacy in the back room, it's time for us to let loose at Peacock for sexy, kinky play in a space by us, for us. Socialize and cruise by the bar, and see what the night brings for you in our pop-up dungeon in the back.
β
The Gay Barn will provide some safer sex materials including gloves, condoms, and chucks (pads), as well as some kink furniture and (very sexy) air mattresses.
β
For this first edition of Hussy, we will be blocking off the back room from view using curtains, but the bar will remain open to the public. If it's well attended, we will rent the entire bar next time, so show up, tell your friends, and support Peacock!
HUSSY rules: Get consent before making physical contact with anyone (sexual or non-sexual). -Before playing, all parties must give enthusiastic consent. -Being able to say no is just as important as being able to say yes. Know your yesβs, boundaries and limits, and communicate them. -Do not pressure, or try to convince anyone to do something they do not give an enthusiastic yes to. -Before playing, check-in with your partner(s) about your STI risk status and the utilization of safer sex materials. -Only engage in play in the back room. Do not play in the bar area or the bathroom (these spaces are open to the public). -No photography of any kind in the playspace. Only take photos in the bar area with the full consent of everyone involved, including anyone in the background. -No bodily fluids on the furniture! Use a towel or the chuck pads provided. -Clean and wipe down surfaces with a disinfectant wipe and/or alcohol spray after use. -Do not police or question anyone's gender identity, sexual orientation, or other identity. -We ask that you not engage in play around/containing racism, homophobia, or transphobia. -Be respectful of the space. There is no smoking, incense, art supplies, glitter, food play, messy play, open fire (i.e. no wax), or other hazards allowed in the facility. -No choking or breath play. -No piss, scat, or vomit play. -Be respectful when watching a scene to not disturb the people playing. Do not interrupt anyoneβs scene unless there is a genuine and immediate safety concern. Never join a scene without an explicit invitation. -Should you feel triggered by a scene, please seek care for yourself. If you anticipate that you will need extra emotional support or someone to process your feelings with, make arrangements with a friend who knows you outside of the event that you can call or message if needed. -Please no processing, personal emotional drama, or whining about disappointments allowed in the designated play party spaces. Consider how your energy affects others and respect the intention and vibes of the play space. -If something appears to be unsafe or non-consensual, alert The Gay Barn, a DM, or bar staff immediately. -Use substances responsibly! The rules of consent always apply, and intoxication negates consent. We trust you all to take care of yourselves, and each other. -The Gay Barn is in charge and is ultimately responsible for the space. Follow their directions as well as these rules. Anyone who violates these rules or does not follow directions may be asked to leave. Also follow any directions or rules from Peacock staff and ownership.

About
The Gay Barn
The Gay Barn is not a place, it is an experience.
β
The Gay Barn produces events and play parties for kinky homos, with an emphasis on creating dyke spaces. (*We are an events production company, not a venue!)
β
Twice a year (or so), Billy and Emma host vetted, private retreat-style play parties for kinky queers, in various beautiful locations across the PNW. We create spaces for dykes, lesbians, queers and gender expansive homos to get together and get freaky (*no cis men, TERFs, SWERFs, or zesty straights). βEach retreat play party is a unique combination of the physical environment and the amazing people who attend. But you can always count on hot homos, fun activities, sexy play, beautiful views, delicious homemade meals, and excellent vibes!
β
βThe Gay Barn also produces monthly, quarterly or sporadic events in Portland that never disappoint. Whether it's arm wrestling, a pop-up strip club, or play party, we bring The Gay Barn vibes to local venues! Join our mailing list to stay updated on all our latest events.
The Gay Barn is committed to anti-racism, trans inclusion, body positivity, and accessibility to our events.
About the organizers
The Gay Barn began in 2022 with two slutty, married dykes longing for an orgy that was more than just an opportunity for kink.
β
We wanted to have an experience that cultivated a sense of joy, playfulness, and authenticity – with all the vibes on point. We leaned into it and started bringing people together for some truly legendary parties. - Billy and Emma
